  • Week 1-2

The control period starts which is designed to gauge participants’ normal email usage without the AirEmail tool. You can carry on using email as normal without doing anything.

  • Week 3-4

At the start of week 3 you will be invited to learn about the AirEmail tool and how it will help you manage your inbox more effectively.

  • Week 5-8

After you feel confident with the features of the tool, you will be given full access to AirEmail features for a period of 4 weeks. During this period AirEmail will collect data on your email usage in order to analyse how effective it is in helping you use your email.

  • Week 9-10

The AirEmail tool will be switched off again and a 2-week-long after-study control period begins. Your inbox will return to normal while email stats are collected.

Only non-identifiable email use data is collected during the course of the study.
